⏱️Setting Up An Account

An account will be created when you first open the app at https://odex.fi/app.html

This will create 3 virtual wallets and, if available, will airdrop $10,000 USDC and a small amount of the native ETH token to cover transaction fees.

Your wallet will show the asset balances. Note that the airdrop may take 5 minutes to reach your account and it will show up automatically once received. At any time you can create new wallets, backup your private key, restore existing wallets or remove a wallet from the app. WARNING: If you remove a wallet from the app or lose access to the device there is nothing that anyone can do to restore the wallet or regain access to funds. You are responsible for self-custody of your own wallet and funds. We recommend backing up the private key by writing it down on paper and storing in a safe place (not on an internet connected device).

CONNECTING METAMASK

Virtual wallets are convenient but they are not as secure as external wallets and hardware wallets. You can connect a hardware wallet to Metamask and then connect Metamask to ODEX for the most secure trading experience. Note this requires every transaction is signed using the hardware device.

To connect a browser based wallet such as Metamask open the "Wallets" tab and tap "Connect Wallet" in the top right. This will prompt a confirmation in your installed browser wallet which will open up the account in ODEX. Note that you can transfer airdrop funds to a browser wallet via the withdraw buttons.

TOPPING UP ETH

You should have enough ETH to cover a 20-30 transactions, if you need more you can use a faucet to get a free distribution of Arbitrum Sepolia ETH at: https://faucet.quicknode.com/arbitrum/sepolia
